Job Location:

• Montoursville, PA

Responsibilities:

• Perform pre-and-post-trip inspections of equipment and report any defect immediately to the supervisor
• Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of Compass Natural Gas Equipment
• Deliver full compressed natural gas trailers to the customer site and bring empty trailers back to the terminal or refueling station
• Job duties may include but are not limited to hooking and unhooking trailers, connecting hoses, abiding by traffic laws, and diving in inclement weather while traveling on and off paved roads.
• Delivery location duties may consist of but not limited to – Connecting and disconnecting of CNG tankers; Training will be Provided
• Accurately record departing and returning CNG tanker pressure and temperature information
• Report any issues or concerns regarding customer sites to the appropriate manager
• Drivers may be asked periodically to move equipment trailers, and other freight.
• Depending on customers’ needs, drivers may be asked to work weekends, nights, and holidays and stay overnight for some time, throughout the Mid-Atlantic region (PA, OH, WV, NJ, NY, KY, and beyond as needed)

Qualifications:

• CNG training is provided, but oil and gas experience is preferred
• High school Diploma or Equivalent
• Valid Commercial Driver’s License with 3+yrs driving experience
• Must hold a valid Tanker and Hazmat Endorsement
• Ability to meet all Driver Qualifications requirements per FMCSA, and Compass Natural Gas Partners
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions when necessary
• Must be able to meet all physical requirements of the job including climbing stairs and lifting to 100lbs

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:

• This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work vary.

Compensation:

• Starts at $26/hr. (More DOE)
• Eligibility-based $1,500 Quarterly Safety /Performance Bonus.

This position reports directly to the Transportation Manager. The Terminal Dispatcher will communicate all schedules. While on-site at the Montoursville Terminal, all drivers will follow the directions of the Terminal Operators and Terminal Manager
